What is a VIN?
Think of a VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) as a car’s DNA or fingerprint. It is a unique 17-character code that tells a vehicle's entire life story.
No two cars share the same VIN. It acts as a permanent record that follows the car from the factory floor to the scrapyard.
What’s hidden in those 17 characters?
The Origin: The first few digits identify the country of manufacture and the brand (e.g., Mercedes-Benz, Toyota).
The Specs: The middle section describes the engine type, body style
